Changan Philippines recently held its first Tech Talk at its training academy in Pasig City on May 8, 2026. The Chinese carmaker hosted 20 participants, mostly comprising owners of the range-extended Nevo Hunter K50, the plug-in hybrid Nevo Q05 and A05, and the fully electric Lumin.
The event aimed to educate owners on how to maximize the features and overall use of their electric vehicles. It also included discussions on safety with experiential training activities. The overall engagement was conducted by the trainers from the brand’s after-sales department, who also entertained questions from the participants.

Changan aims to continue this initiative with more educational and support-focused events throughout the course of the year. This also serves as an additional platform to interact with owners and further foster a community of Changan owners.

Currently, the brand offers four electrified vehicles with three hybrids and a subcompact EV. Its recent showcase at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show hinted that another plug-in hybrid could be joining its stable. It will take after the facelifted CS55 Plus in appearance, but will likely resemble the Q05 in terms of performance.

While we wait for that to enter the local market, buyers in the Philippines can browse through Chagan’s current lineup. Interestingly, all of its electrified offerings come in at under P2 million.
