This might be the finishing touch your car needs. Qiasi Emblem Art Studio, based in Henan Province, China, is a small crafts outfit that specializes in custom car emblems. Each piece is handmade using techniques inspired by traditional Eastern artistry, giving your car something that genuinely stands out.

Every emblem is meticulously crafted, with designs inspired from classic motifs. Depending on the size and complexity, pieces can range from $60 (around P3,500) to $179 (around P10,000). And yes, they ship to the Philippines, so getting one for your own build is very much on the table.

We reached out to Anda, the artist behind the studio, who gladly explained the craft. Their work takes inspiration from cloisonné (also known as Jingtailan), a traditional Chinese technique that involves laying fine metal wires onto a surface to form intricate patterns, filling them with colored enamel, and firing them at high temperatures.

Since modern car badges don’t exactly do well in ovens—they’re typically made of ABS plastic—the studio developed its own ‘cold process’ method. This allows them to recreate the same look and detail without exposing the badge to extreme heat.

The process itself is as hands-on as it gets. Fine metal wires are carefully laid onto the surface of an original badge to form the design. These sections are then filled with mineral pigments mixed with a special binding agent. Once everything is air-dried and fully set, the piece is sealed with a UV-resistant, anti-oxidation epoxy resin for durability.

It’s not a quick job, either. Depending on order volume and drying time, a single emblem can take anywhere from two to three weeks to complete.

While most designs lean into traditional Eastern aesthetics, the studio can also create fully custom pieces based on client requests. It all starts with a digital mockup sent for approval before the actual crafting process begins.

Aside from emblems, the studio also offers matching badges, so you can color-coordinate the logos across your entire car. Since everything is done by hand, no two pieces are exactly alike.

If you’re looking to add something unique to your build, Qiasi Emblem Art Studio might be worth a look. You can check out their work through their online shop or Instagram page.
