Now, here is a car fit for the likes of Miranda Priestly. The Devil Wears Prada 2 held its global premiere earlier this week, and Mercedes-Maybach rolled out the red carpet for a customized S-Class to celebrate the new movie.
Dressed in a two-tone black and gold finish, this S-Class is as chic as it is elegant. The carmaker also added a high-heeled pitchfork emblem by the driver’s door, and another one can be found on the rear armrest.
Looking closer inside, the official movie logo has been printed onto the center console, while more pitchforks have been stitched onto the seat-head pillows. Those, however, are complemented by the number ‘2,’ in commemoration of this sequel.

The cherries on top are the special license plates that read out Miranda’s timeless, ‘THTSALL,’ line. Those words that probably still send shivers down the spines of hopeful fashionistas and publishing interns.
Fans of the first movie will also recall that a silver S-Class was one of Miranda’s vehicles of choice. It’s only fitting that even after 20 years, the editor in chief still prefers her German luxury cars.
It is also very timely. Mercedes-Maybach debuted its newest S-Class in March earlier this year, offering customers more than 150 exterior and over 400 interior finishes to choose from. Buyers can also opt between a 6.0-liter V12, a 4.0-liter V8 mild hybrid, and a 3.0-liter straight-six plug-in hybrid. That’s all.
