The Suzuki GSX-8T and GSX-8TT were both recognized for the prestigious Red Dot Award: Product Design 2026. The neo-retro street bikes are the first of any Suzuki product to win a Red Dot.

Held annually, the Red Dot Design Awards is one of the world’s most respected design competitions. It has four categories, with entries evaluated on innovation, functionality, ergonomics, durability, ecological compatibility, and emotional content. The Product Design category is the most well-known, often featuring cars and motorcycles each year.

Both the GSX-8T and GSX-8TT share the same 776cc parallel-twin engine. In fact, they’re almost identical apart from design. The GSX-8T features more classic styling with the round headlight and naked design, while the GSX-8TT takes on a sportier look featuring a headlight cowl and belly pan, while still maintaining a retro vibe.

“We are honored that the GSX-8T and GSX-8TT have received the Red Dot Award,” said Suzuki managing officer and executive general manager for motorcycle operations Takashi Ise. “Suzuki upholds the corporate slogan of ‘By Your Side’ and will continue to make efforts to create products that satisfy our customers in both performance and design.”
