The 2026 KTM 1390 Super Duke RR is the most aggressive Duke yet

The flagship 2026 KTM 1390 Super Duke RR has been launched, and it’s the fastest and most aggressive version of the brand’s naked bike thus far—so much so that the Austrian motorcycle manufacturer has given it the title ‘Beast RR.’

The 1390 Super Duke RR—referred to as the ‘Duke RR’ for the sake of brevity—sheds 11kg from the 1390 Super Duke R, the bike it was based on. The weight savings come with a stiffer chassis that provides better stability when riding on the limit.

To achieve this, the Duke RR features a generous amount of carbon fiber, combined with suspension from WP Pro Components that utilizes tech straight out of MotoGP. The bike not only comes with race-level suspension performance but also extensive adjustability. To grip the road, the Duke RR rides on Michelin Power GP Hypersport tires wrapped on 17-inch forged wheels.

Let’s get to the engine. The Duke RR features the latest-generation 1,350cc LC8 V-twin with ‘Camshift’ technology that delivers 187hp and 145Nm of torque. The rev symphony is delivered through a titanium Akrapovic slip-On exhaust, while Brembo Hypure Sport brake calipers handle stopping duties.

KTM says that the Duke RR has the most complete electronics package ever fitted on a street-going KTM, with all Tech Pack features included as standard.

The bike has an all-new 8.8-inch TFT touchscreen display with a new lap timer and telemetry stats in Track Mode, and an all-new Beast Mode function. These features work together with the usual spread of rider aids, ride modes, and ABS settings.

It wouldn’t be right to finish this article without talking about the design. I mean, just look at this bike. The 1390 Super Duke R and Super Duke R EVO already looked good with the visible trellis frame and aggressive lines (especially those Demogorgon-like headlights). The Duke RR elevates that with new decals and additional winglets around the tank.

The 2026 KTM 1390 Super Duke RR will be priced at £24,999 (around P2,028,549) and will be available starting late April this year. It will, however, be limited to only 350 units worldwide. KTM says that 40 units will be going to the UK, and while there’s a very slim chance that any of the remaining 310 units will make their way to the Philippines, as the saying goes—walang masamang mangarap.
