Repsol, one of the most recognizable brands in the motorcycle engine oil industry, has officially launched its newest range of lubricants in the market.
Repsol Lubricants Philippines has unveiled four new product ranges, two of which are now available. These four new ranges are: Urban, Rider, Extreme, and Explorer.

The Urban range caters mainly to bikes used for, well, the urban setting. Repsol considers this one of the harshest environments for oil, with conditions including traffic jams, hot starts, and a constantly changing pace across day-to-day riding. The Repsol Urban 10W-40 is available for either manual or automatic motorcycles.

The Rider range, meanwhile, is designed for two-wheelers used for daily riding outside of extreme, grueling conditions. The Rider comes in 20W-50 and 10W-40 variants for manual and automatic motorcycles, respectively.

The other two upcoming Repsol products are the Extreme and Explorer. The Extreme is suitable for high temperatures, high revs, and hard acceleration. In essence, it’s for sporty riding both on- and off-road, and optimizes clutch feel, gearshift precision, and engine response. This is also the only lubricant available in the market that’s the same as what Moto2 and Moto3 bikes use.
As for the Explorer, this is built for long-distance touring and mixed-use riding across asphalt and the trail. It is formulated to maintain performance even through prolonged and changing usage.
Thoughts on Repsol’s new products, riders? Will this be something you’ll be considering for your next oil change?
