Official: The Toyota Land Cruiser FJ is now on sale in PH

It’s been a long road for the Land Cruiser FJ ever since it was officially revealed in October last year. But today’s the day: Toyota Motor Philippines has officially declared it available for purchase. It comes in two variants: The TX is P2,235,000, while the VX stickers for P2,575,000. As with other Toyotas, opting for the Platinum White Pearl Mica paint job is a P15,000 upcharge.

Both variants are powered by a 2.7-liter naturally-aspirated gasoline engine churning out 166hp and 245Nm of torque. This is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and part-time four-wheel drive, providing off-road capability when the situation calls for it.

Toyota says the TX is a more straightforward package that offers customers more affordable access to the Land Cruiser FJ. With 17-inch steelies, a 9-inch infotainment screen, and manual seat adjustment, it’s a more spartan package. That said, Top Gear Philippines publisher Carlo Chungunco believes the TX trim will actually appeal to those looking to customize the Land Cruiser FJ with their own mods. We anticipate a big aftermarket ecosystem for the FJ, same as what happened to the Suzuki Jimny.

The VX trim adds on the creature comforts expected of range-topping variants: an upsized 12.3-inch infotainment display, eight-way power seat adjustment, and a panoramic view monitor. The exterior also gets more parts like the roof rail and side steps, plus an upgrade to 18-inch alloy wheels. Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 wraps up the package with a comprehensive ADAS suite for peace of mind.

Interested buyers are advised to visit or get in touch with their nearest Toyota dealership to learn more about the Land Cruiser FJ. With the crowds it drew in during the 2026 Philippine International Motor Show, we expect it to be quite the seller.
