There are plenty of jokes thrown the Toyota RAV4’s way for the past two generations or so. Chief among them is the lack of an all-wheel drive drivetrain even as an option. It’s ironic for a vehicle whose name is an abbreviation for, “Recreational Active Vehicle with 4-wheel Drive.” This is something Toyota has rectified with the arrival of the sixth-generation model.
