The Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) recently approved a hike in toll fares for the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and the Southern Tagalog Arterial Road (STAR) Tollway. The price adjustment will take effect on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, as the second tranche of a larger scheme that began in January.

According to the TRB, the increased fares will support “the continued operation, maintenance, and improvement of SLEX and STAR Tollway facilities and service.” With that, the new fees cover the entire stretches of both thoroughfares and apply to all three vehicle classes.
