Genesis has unveiled more of the Magma GT and GT3 concepts, and they look really good

Recently, Genesis secured a respectable 13th place finish in its first crack at the Hypercar class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Turns out it was fairly busy off the track at the same time too, because it also unveiled another racecar—the Magma GT3 Concept.

Yep, it’s the bewinged, competition-spec version of the Magma GT Concept that we first saw back in November last year. And it looks fantastic.

Genesis says the GT3 was developed in collaboration with Hyundai Motorsport and that it “outlines a potential future direction for Genesis Magma Racing,” so here’s hoping it does decide to make the leap. The racer gets widened tracks, a large front splitter, and that massive rear wing-plus-diffuser combo.

The road car has been updated since we first saw it too, with a new green paintjob and a proper interior with lots of quilted leather, Alcantara, and proper physical dials. Hurrah! There’s a gated-style drive selector, giant paddles behind a rather lovely steering wheel, and a small central screen.

Remember, this thing was designed to be a ‘two-passenger luxury grand tourer’ with the 3.2-liter twin-turbo V8 from the GMR-001 Hypercar mounted midship and potentially a supporting hybrid system. Yeah, Genesis might be about to become very cool indeed.

At Le Mans, the company also announced plans to grow into new markets in Europe including Italy, France, the Netherlands, and Spain. Oh, and it showed off ‘evolved’ versions of the X Gran Convertible Concepts that were originally introduced at the 2025 Seoul Mobility Show. They’re now looking slightly sportier, with the redesign apparently “further aligning the model with Genesis’ expanding Magma portfolio.”

Hurry up and build them all, Genesis!
