BMW Philippines notched strong sales this August, moving 100 units within the month. This is a 150% year-over-year sales increase compared to 2025. Looking at the rest of the year, the premium automaker has sold 676 vehicles since January, representing 24% year-to-date growth over last year’s 546 sales.

The brand attributes part of its success this year to its PHEV offerings in the 3-Series, 5-Series, and 7-Series lineups. BMW Philippines says that its plug-in offerings provide its customers “more ways to experience BMW’s signature driving performance with greater efficiency.” The most recent addition to this slate is the X3 xLine PHEV which was made available in July.

BMW Philippines also shares that it has managed to capture 39% of the premium automotive market year-to-date, growing from the 24% it held in 2025 over the same period. This comes amid the entry of more brands competing in the same market.

Finally, BMW Philippines also teased alongside its other announcements the upcoming arrival of a new model. Though it did not expound further on this, the automaker is likely referring to the Neue Klasse iX3, which surfaced in regulatory homologation papers at the end of July.
