BMW M and BMW Motorrad have come together for a joint special-edition release honoring the Nürburgring’s 100th anniversary. The collection is called 100 Jahre Nürburgring and features nine models: six cars and three motorcycles.
Starting with the former, BMW has included the M2, M3 Sedan, M3 Touring, M4 Coupe, M5 Sedan, and M5 Touring. These all feature exclusive Nürburgring Green paint and a black interior with contrasting green-and-white stitching.
Other details include special-edition roof stripes, ‘Nürburgring 100’ badging by the center console, and anniversary logos by the doors. The six-cylinder models get an M alcantara steering wheel with green stitching, a white 12 o’clock marker, and yellow BMW badging, while the M5 models feature an M leather steering wheel with the same motif. The wheels also get special-edition treatment with a black-and-green finish. Additionally, all six cars are also available in Black Sapphire Metallic.

Meanwhile, BMW Motorrad celebrates the anniversary with special editions of the M1000 RR, the M1000 R, and the M1000 XR. These bikes also feature Nürburgring Green paint, anniversary-specific elements, and will be limited to only 100 units each.
All three models feature 100 Jahre Nürburgring decals, alcantara seats with an embroidered ‘100’ logo, an airbox cover with a ‘one of 100’ marking, and carbon wheels with green accent stripes. The bikes also come with a paddock stand, a motorcycle mat with the anniversary logo, and a certificate of authenticity to cement each unit’s collector status. Additionally, the M1000 RR and M1000 R also come with an M Cover kit.
“The Nürburgring is much more than just a racetrack for us—it is a second home for BMW M,” said BMW M CEO Frank van Meel. “All our production vehicles are put through their paces on the Nordschleife. With the Edition 100 Jahre Nürburgring, we celebrate our long-standing and successful relationship with the Nürburgring.”
“The Nordschleife has been part of the DNA of our M models for years,” shared BMW Motorrad CEO Markus Flasch. “With our special models for the 100th anniversary of the Nürburgring, we pay tribute to a place that has made motorsport history and, to this day, shapes the connection between racetrack and road like no other.”
As of writing, official release dates haven’t been announced for the three special-edition motorcycles, but for the cars, BMW says the M3, M4, and M5 models will be available to order starting September 2026, while the M2 will follow in January 2027.
