One of the biggest automotive news stories locally for 2026 has been Mitsubishi’s master plan to invest in local hybrid vehicle manufacturing. Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) announced a couple of months ago that it intends to take part in the local Electric Vehicle Incentive Strategy (EVIS) program planned and proposed by the current administration.
