Honda Cars Philippines is revamping its lineup with updates to its two famed nameplates, the City and the Civic.

Starting with the City, the subcompact sedan/hatchback gets an almost completely reworked front fascia. It features more aggressive styling, with a larger blacked-out grille than before. The headlight signature is still familiar, but new-look DRLs now accentuate this front clip. The bumper now looks sharper than ever, with functional side ducts flanking the air vents underneath.

The City and City Hatchback get the same aesthetic tweaks up front, but out back, it’s the sedan that sees more significant changes. Both get new bulky bumper garnishes at the rear, while the sedan gets some added black trim on the trunk.

Inside, all City variants get a new floating head unit mounted on the dash. It’s now a full touchscreen unit with no physical knobs or buttons. The A/C, however, still has physical controls below.

Speaking of A/C, Honda has added rear A/C vents to the City. It also gets new USB-C ports inside the cabin. Mechanically, however, it’s untouched. It still packs the same 1.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine capable of 109hp and 145Nm of torque mated to a CVT. Still no hybrid here, folks.

That said, the lineup only gets minor price changes. The City S and V retain their price tags, while the City Hatchback gets a slight P40,000 price bump. You can check out the full price list below.
