VinFast highlighted its commitment to strengthening electrified mobility in the region by serving as one of the official mobility partners of the 44th ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting (AMEM44) and its associated meetings, held in Metro Manila from October 5 to 8, 2026.

The Vietnamese carmaker provided 11 units of the VF MPV 7, which was launched in the Philippines earlier this year. The seven-seater MPV provided a zero-emission mode of transport for delegates throughout the event, showcasing its range (up to 450km on a single charge), comfortable ride, spacious cabin, and everyday practicality.

VinFast’s participation in the event reinforces its commitment to shape a cleaner, smarter future for mobility in the region. In the Philippines, the brand is providing an accessible entry point into electrified mobility with its four-wheeled offerings and newly launched e-bikes, as well as its connection to the ride-hailing service Green GSM. It has also pioneered schemes such as the RentaPasada program, the Residual Value Guarantee program, and an EV battery subscription. The carmaker is likewise expanding its local network with at least 27 new dealerships in the coming months.
