Well, that was a surprise. Jetour Auto Philippines has just added a new plug-in hybrid 4×4 variant to its expansive T2 lineup. Aptly called the Jetour T2 Lightning i-DM 4×4, this latest configuration was announced at the UAAGI On The Move 2026 roadshow, happening this weekend at the SM Megamall Fashion Hall.
There, interested customers can place a unit reservation, with deliveries expected to commence later this month. At launch, the T2 Lightning i-DM 4×4 stickers for P2.688 million, which is about P200,000 more than the familiar dual-motor version (pictured above and below; the 4×4 was not yet on display during the first day of the event).

The booth will be open until Sunday, September 6, 2026, and visitors can also check out the smaller T1 Lightning i-DM Panther Edition and the seven-seater X70 Lightning i-DM.

So far, details on the new 4×4 T2 have remained sparse. The exact powertrain specifications are still unknown, but Jetour has shared that total system output is rated at a snappy 600hp and a whopping 915Nm of torque.

Oddly, the Department of Energy’s EV database does have a listing for a 4×4 version of the T2 Lightning, but the brochure attached does not contain the aforementioned power ratings. The listing also links out to an all-wheel-drive T2 Lightning, which could be an entirely different vehicle altogether.
It looks like we’ll have to sit and wait for Jetour to release more official information about its newest T2. With increased power and capability, we can expect this T2 to stand atop its lineup and, effectively, as Jetour’s flagship model—apart from the separate GAIA brand, of course.
