Along with the new Ranger Wildtrak-X, Ford Philippines has launched a new top-of-the-line variant for its popular midsize SUV: Meet the new Ford Everest Platinum, which comes with a sticker price of P2,849,000.
The Everest Platinum adopts the lineup’s premium look. It has Ford’s signature front grille, comes with either 21-inch alloy wheels, and has four colors to choose from: Absolute Black, Acacia Green, Aluminum Metallic, and Snowflake White Pearl. Powering the new Everest Platinum is a 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 that delivers 247hp and 600Nm of torque and is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission

The Everest Platinum is joined by the Wildtrak 4×4, Sport+ 4×2, and Active 4×2 variants in the stable. The 10-speed gearbox is now standard across the range, but all other trims get a familiar 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel that produces 167hp and 405Nm of torque.
