MG Motor Philippines officially kicks off the Multiply Greatness Tour 2026 at the Trinoma Activity Center on August 27, 2026. It delivers 168hp of peak power and 250Nm of torque from its permanent-magnet synchronous motor. The motor draws power from a 49kWh lithium iron phosphate battery that’s capable of up to 120kW DC fast charging. Under suitable conditions, the battery can charge from 10% to 90% in approximately 24 minutes, while AC charging is supported at up to 7kW. The S5 EV offers a 415km NEDC range, giving drivers the flexibility to handle everyday travel and longer journeys with confidence.
The S5 EV also makes electric ownership more convenient with features such as scheduled charging, battery thermal optimization, regenerative braking with Low, Medium, Strong, and Adaptive settings, and One-Pedal Drive. Vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability adds another dimension to its versatility, allowing the vehicle to supply power to compatible external devices when needed.
At 4,476mm long, 1,849mm wide, and 1,621mm high, with a 2,730mm wheelbase, the S5 EV offers compact-SUV proportions well suited to both city streets and weekend escapes. Inside, it has 453 liters of cargo space, expanding to 1,441 liters with the rear seats folded and underfloor storage included, giving drivers the flexibility to carry everything from everyday essentials to luggage for longer trips.
There are four available color options: Desert Sand Beige, Andes Gray, Cosmic Silver, and Dover White. The modern exterior complements the electric character with sporty details including 17-inch alloy wheels with aero fins, projector LED headlights, Racing Flag-design LED daytime running lights and taillights, gloss-black door mirrors, and a rear spoiler. Load-bearing roof rails capable of supporting up to 75kg further enhance its practicality for active lifestyles.
Inside, the S5 EV keeps technology within easy reach. A 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster works alongside a 12.8-inch touchscreen display, while Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto provide seamless smartphone connectivity. Automatic climate control, smart entry, electronic parking brake with auto brake hold, multiple USB ports, 60:40 split-folding rear seats, and a PM2.5 cabin filter add everyday convenience.
