It’s official, folks: After an initial appearance at the Philippine International Motor Show earlier this year, the new Nissan Kicks e-Power will finally make its local debut on August 28.
The stage will be set at the Glorietta Palm Drive Activity Center in Makati City, with the show expected to kick off at 10am. Test drives will be available on the same day, and interested customers will also get the chance to try out other Nissan models.

Those include the recently launched X-Trail e-Power and roster stalwarts like the Terra and the Navara. While the subcompact Kicks will be the star of the show, mall visitors can expect the full Nissan experience at the event.

In case you missed it, reservations for the Kicks already started in July, but more official details have yet to be confirmed. Previous reports suggest that three variants will be available at launch, along with additional premium colors.

All speculation will be put to rest come August 28, but here’s what we know so far: Nissan has already shared that its new crossover’s powertrain is rated at 134hp and 280Nm of torque, thanks to a similar hybrid e-Power system.
This latest model will be further upgraded with Nissan ProPilot, the brand’s suite of advanced driver-assist features, and a larger 12.3-inch main display. The latter will also come with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with additional NissanConnect services available on the brand’s mobile app.
