ACMobility and Shell recently inaugurated their newest EV charging hubs on the North Luzon Expressway in Mexico, Pampanga. Both northbound and southbound sides now have Evro-connected DC fast chargers to support electric vehicles bound for popular destinations like Baguio or La Union, as well as those headed back to Metro Manila.
The partnership between ACMobility and Shell was penned in September 2025. Since then, it has produced a total of eight EV charging hubs at the following Shell locations:
Key representatives of both companies were present at the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the new hubs. ACMobility head of mobility infrastructure Carla Buencamino commented: “As we ramp up our efforts to build the Philippine EV Spine, we are grateful to have Shell as our partner in advancing the country towards sustainable mobility. Through our partnership, we’re making EV charging accessible along major thoroughfares that link key destinations across Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.”

The ‘Philippine EV Spine’ is a concept created by ACMobility to describe a charging network that spans the country, making travel between Pagudpud in Northern Luzon to Pagadian in Southern Mindanao possible. As of July 2026, ACMobility has opened over 200 charging locations nationwide, many of which stem from the company’s several partnerships.
The ACMobility-Shell partnership aims to bring EV charging to a total of 50 Shell locations. ACMobility shares that the Pampanga, Cavite, and Camarines Sur charging points are set to open soon. Other locations have also been scheduled for construction, including Batangas, Bataan, and Cebu.
