BAIC Philippines, under United Asia Automotive Group (UAAGI), has partnered with Gateway Group through MG Gateway Mantrade. The partnership aims to expand BAIC’s dealership network in the country and move towards electrified mobility by introducing new vehicles to the brand’s lineup.
Some of the dealership locations set to open under the partnership include Manila Bay, Taguig, and Matina in Davao. These places were strategically chosen for their access to key urban and regional markets, making the brand more accessible to a wider range of customers.

As customers demand modern and sustainable transportation, the partnership aims to support the transition to sustainable mobility by expanding BAIC’s electrified vehicle offerings. These include the B30e Dune Hybrid, the B40e Trailmaster rEV, the B60 Beaumont Diesel Hybrid, and the B60e Beaumont rEV.

As one of the country’s largest dealer groups, Gateway Group plans to further strengthen BAIC as an emerging player in the country’s highly competitive automotive industry, specifically in the new energy vehicle segment.
“Gateway Group coming on board tells us the demand is real, and we’d rather grow where people are already asking for us than get ahead of ourselves,” said BAIC Philippines brand head Timothy Sytin. “Each new location is one more place a Filipino can get to know BAIC up close, and that’s what keeps this moving.”
