A new hypercar is coming. Wait, come back! This new hypercar wants to change everything you ever thought you knew about hypercars, beginning with the one thing that—according to the company responsible for it—always gets ignored.
The fleshy human bit doing all the important Driving Things. Sanrivatti—a new(ish) company founded by a chap called Santiago Sanchez—wants its new hypertoy to explore “something that has never been see before: a driver-centered vehicle architecture.”
Does this simply mean… a central driving position? No idea. Sanrivatti explains the design of its car “starts not with the chassis of the car, but the human body itself, offering a new perspective in balance, posture, instincts and sense of control.”

Apparently this way of designing a very fast car turns it from simply being a very fast car into “a uniquely physical and intensely visceral experience shaped by how the body interacts with the machine around it.” TopGear.com is not at all suggesting Sanrivatti has discovered Force abilities, but, y’know, if the glove fits… use it to Force Squeeze something.
We’ll see more of this unique concept—outside of these teaser pics—soon, because a “real world driving proof-of-concept” already exists. That is to say, there be a prototype, it move.
“Our ethos draws from cutting-edge automotive engineering,” said Santiago, “with inspiration from the world of superbikes, where the connection between rider and road is immediate and physical.”
Superbikes, you say? Hmm…
