The GAC Emkoo Hybrid will be returning to the Philippines at the 2026 Auto Focus Summer Test Drive Festival. GAC’s electrified crossover has been absent from the local market for some time now, but it will be marking its comeback at one of the biggest test-drive events of the year.
At the festival, buyers will be able to pick up a brand-new Emkoo for just P1.38 million, which is a full P318,000 less than its initial price from 2025. Additionally, customers who opt to finance with the Bank of the Philippine Islands will be entitled to an extra P20,000 off the sticker price. While Auto Focus 2026 will take place from May 7 to 10, these offers will be available until the end of the month.
After that, regular pricing will set in, and GAC International Philippines will sell this hybrid crossover slightly higher at P1.48 million. However, that is still considerably more accessible than its original price point.

There doesn’t seem to be any powertrain changes in this reintroduced Emkoo Hybrid. That means the same 2.0-liter Atkinson Cycle engine and 2.0kWh battery from 2025 are still onboard. Further assisted by a single electric motor, the Emkoo is rated to make 235hp and 300Nm of torque.
Of course, interested buyers will be able to test drive this crossover starting Thursday, May 7. It will be joined by the fully electric Aion V and Hyptec HT, as well as the hybrid GS8 SUV. Will you be checking out GAC at Auto Focus this year?
