The facelifted Lexus IS is now in the Philippines, and all we can say is: finally. This version of the third-generation sedan launched in September 2025, and we’ve seen it travel around the world. Most recently, it made its regional debut at the 2026 Bangkok International Motor Show in March.
Now, we have it on our shores, and buyers can choose among three configurations. Mind, this is a heavy facelift, and not a full model change. The familiar hybrid and F Sport options are still on deck, but the IS500 has been discontinued.

The biggest changes are on the front and the interior. Starting outside, the spindle grille has been redesigned with a sleeker, wider finish. It also cuts right by the hood, in a very Camry-looking fashion.

Inside, the analog clock has been removed, as a larger 12.3-inch main screen now dominates the dashboard. The touchpad is also gone, with a physical volume control knob and seat-cooling buttons taking its place. Lexus has also updated the center console, with USB-C ports and a wireless charging pad.
On the driver’s side, the instrument cluster is now a flat screen. Those behind the wheel may also notice a difference in handling as a new rack-parallel electric power steering system has been equipped. These updates should remain standard across all variants, but the F Sport will get larger 19-inch alloys, as the hybrid variants get 18-inch rollers.
